Fobes magazine recently published the list of 15 top supermodels of the world in term of their past 12 months total earnings which was determined by their recent campaigns, fashion magazine covers and editorials and opinions.

1. Gisele Bundchen
Gisele Bundcher estimated earning is $33 millions. This 26 year old Brazilian top model worked for Victoria’s Secret, Apple, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli. She is also running her line of sandals, Ipanema by Gisele in USA as well as in UK.
Gisele’s debut on the cover the July 1999 edition of Vogue Magazine.She has been the face of a variety of advertising campaigns including several seasons of Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni, Versace, Céline, Givenchy, Bvlgari, Lanvin, Guerlain, Valentino, Ralph Lauren, Earl Jean, Zara, Chloé, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, and Victoria’s Secret.

2. Kate Moss
She Born in Croydon, England, this 33-years-old international fashion icon has earned $9 million in last 12 months. made her first appearance in British women’s Sunday Times Rich List in 2007, where she was estimated to be worth £45 million. She ranked as the 99th richest woman in Britain. Moss has had campaigns with major Italian, French, American, and British designers including Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Chanel, Missoni, Longchamp, David Yurman, Dior, Yves Saint-Laurent, Burberry, Rimmel, and Bvlgari.

3. Heidi Klum
Heidi Klum, the 34 years old actress, TV presenter, fashion designer, television producer and singer hailing from Bergisch Gladbach, West Germany made $8 millions in last 12 months. In December of 2004, she became the host and judge of the reality show Project Runway. Klum has designed her own clothing lines and shoes for Birkenstock, jewelry for Mouawad, and swimsuits for 2002 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

4. Adriana Lima
Bahia, Brazil born 26-years old and well know supermodel for Victoria’s Secret made 6 millions last year. When Lima was 15 years old, she entered and finished in first place in Brazil’s Ford Supermodel of the World Search. In 1996, she entered for Ford Supermodel of the World contest and finished second place. In 2001 Lima starred in BMW short film. Her other notable works include the well-famed Pirelli Calendar 2005. She first graced the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 1999 and has appeared on subsequent shows ever since. Her most notable walk down the runway was in 2003, where she was the show opener. She is also a spokesperson for cosmetic giant Maybelline New York. She ranked 7th on FHM 100 Sexiest Women 2007.

5. Alessandra Ambrosio
“The future of the modeling world”, Alessandra Ambrosio or Ale olive –skinned beauty and Brazilian supermodel 26 year old best known for her work with Victoria Secret made $6 million last year and she got 5th position according to Fobes magazine.
She stated taking classes of modeling at the age of 12 and began modeling for Dilson Stein.
Her first big modeling job was the cover of the Brazilian Elle magazine.She is working with big-name brands including Christian Dior, Revlon, Gucci, Escada, Roccobarocco, Giorgio Armani, Rolex, Oscar de la Renta, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. she has walked the catwalks for designers such as Laura Biagiotti, Christian Lacroix, Byblos, Fendi, Issey Miyake, Kenzo, She appeared in over 50 international magazine covers such as Cosmopolitan, ELLE, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Ocean Drive, Vogue and the only model to appear on the cover of Glamour in the USA in 2006.

6. Carolyn Murphy - $5 million
Carolyn Murphy was born on August 11, 1975 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Murphy, an American Supermodel started her career at a relatively young age of 16 with a modeling agency Mary Lou’s Models. She is 5 feet 8 inches tall with Blue eyes and Brown hair. At the initial stages of her career she modeled in local ads and magazines throughout Florida and Alabama. Her career took a leap when she got her hair bleached to platinum blonde for a photo shoot. But this caused a hair fall out and she had to get a short hair cut, which gave her a tremendous look leading to her popularity with many top photographers.

This lead to a sudden rise in her career as Murphy made appearances in high fashion magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue. She has also graced the cover of the 2005 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue as well as the cover of 1999 Vogue as the “Model of the Millennium”.

Murphy has been considered the world’s 6th top earning Supermodel by the Forbes magazine in July 2007. Her earnings are estimated to be $5 million in past 12 months. Presently, busy with her modeling assignments, she is also the primary female spokesmodel in Estee Lauder.
