Fashion is not all about comfort !
Time was when men and women used to buy their shoes after testing whether they are comfortable or not. Sadly it is not so anymore, as most of fashion conscious men and women are crazy about the unique designer shoes launched by big labels at glittery fashion events.
In his recent fashion show Marc Jacobs, one of the top US based fashion designer, launched “misplaced heel shoe”. The shoe has heel right in the middle of the soul. Marc is calling his shoe one of his best creations. But the fact remains that may be the models walking on the ramp will somehow manage to walk in those shoes, but what about others. May be few socialites will try to give it a try, but can they wear it continuously for an hour in any party or event. Marc Jacobs is not the only one who has launched unusual shoes. You should see the snake skin and metal shoe launched by Miu Miu recently. The shoe has heel at right place alright, but it is made of metal which again looks so uncomfortable. The fact is wearing comfortable shoes for long time can be harmful for your body. It is not that all the designer shoe are uncomfortable, or designers are forcing people to wear their shoes, but sometimes people think that everything deigned by top designer is fashionable and good to wear. It is same as thin models motivating the young girls these days to starve themselves for the sake of fashion.
